The top of the block looks a bit rough but feels totaly smooth, I dont want to put the oil stone over it anymore for fear of not getting it even. |

No.2 is a bit of a worry as it seems to have come like this from Audi. Everthing is measured up to be standard. You can feel your finger nail catch in the marks, but again I dont want to hone this any more. I'll wait and measure up a new ring in place and it might see another go yet...
The bore is 80.81mm from what I can remember when getting things measured to order the new bits. |
